We just moved to this part of town and had been wanting to try this place ever since. Today we decided to eat here, and it was amazing! We had the cheese curds (which were like mini mozzarella sticks), garlic knots, pepperoni Stromboli, Sundried tomato and basil linguine, and our daughter had Spaghetti and meatballs. It was all amazing. Fair pricing for the most part. A little slow in service..... but the taste and quality of the food made the wait worth it. We can’t wait to go back!
We had a wonderful "first-time-but-won't-be-our-only" experience today. We had pizzas and a side of meatballs. It was all so good. The pizza crust was thin and crisp ❤️❤️. The meatballs were a meal themselves so we left stuffed. The service was great too!
We didn't realize they were booked for seating after showing up 10 minutes before they opened (our mistake). Fortunately our party of 4 was able to dine at the bar. The hospitality and food was exceptional! The next time we will have reservations.
I heard wonderful things about this place. The service, food and atmosphere was wonderful. We got there at 4:30. It is highly recommended that you make reservations. It was a last minute decision for us. So the only spots available was either the bar or two high tops. We got a high top. Highly recommended!!!!!
Food tastes amazing, I'm wondering if everything was picked fresh from a garden. All the staff was very helpful and extremely happy i could tell they love their jobs. Management walked around and checked on table after table to ensure expectations were met, and I'm telling you they blew me away with the quality. Highly recommend.
I wish I took a few photos. The food and staff was awesome. If you have dietary restrictions, they listen and will do their best to accommodate you. Portions were large. Thank you Nicola's for an amazing experience for my birthday with friends.
Definitely worth a return trip! I would go back for the stellar service alone😁. The food was very good. The calamari was a bit disappointing. I've definitely had better. The chicken Parm was yummy. The gnocchi was delicious. My dad was iffy about the lasagna, but he ate the whole serving, so there's that. I just can't say enough good things about the service. Attentive, friendly, and she clearly loved her job. How refreshing!! I will be back
Fantastic meal at Nicola's Italian Kitchen: 4343 S Access Rd Englewood. I had Conchiglie Ripiene (Stuffed Shells) w/Sugo sauce and husband had Chicken Parmigiana. The bread is wonderful, service was great. Included salad was just right, shared some added meatballs (delish) but missed the photos.
Nicola’s Italian Kitchen absolutely impressed us. The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all outstanding. Even though the dining room is small, it feels cozy instead of cramped, and the staff moves around so smoothly that you barely notice how close the tables are. I ordered the cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce, baked with mozzarella on top—delicious. My mom had the manicotti and loved it. The portions were huge and full of flavor. We’ll definitely be back. Our server — I believe her name was Karissa — was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. And for the first time in several years, a waitress actually knew exactly what I meant when I asked for a sweet red wine. That alone made my night. I also want to give a shout‑out to the young red‑haired bus boy. He was polite, kind, and working hard the entire time. His effort really stood out and did not go unnoticed. Great job to the whole team!
Must visit Italian restaurant! The food at Nicola’s is unmatched, fresh and flavorful. We had a reservation at 7:30pm and did not have to wait long for our table. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. Our food came out fast and hot. The food is made from scratch and exceptionally flavorful. Unfortunately they were out of a few items of seafood, but we still had an amazing meal. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be coming back. I plan to make it a regular place to dine. Do not miss out on an authentic and delicious meal. Make reservations as this is a highly desirable restaurant. Thank you to our amazing server, who made sure to make my birthday extra special for me and my family. Outstanding service, absolutely top notch staff.
